Regenerative Medicine & Interventional Orthopedics

Understanding Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative medicine is an approach to healing that works with the body's own biology—rather than masking pain with medication or bypassing the problem with surgery. Using a patient's own biologic material (like platelets or bone marrow-derived cells) these treatments are designed to support the body's natural repair processes at the site of injury or degeneration.

At Rapha, regenerative medicine is combined with interventional orthopedics—precision, image-guided procedures—and concierge-level physician care, so every treatment plan is built around an accurate diagnosis and a clear understanding of your goals, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

How We Help you Heal

Regenerative Therapies

Supporting the body's natural healing processes through advanced orthobiologic treatments

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

A concentration of your own platelets and growth factors, used to stimulate healing at the site of injury.

Prolotherapy (Dextrose)

An injection-based therapy designed to strengthen weakened ligaments and tendons.

Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC)

Cells derived from your own bone marrow, used to support deeper tissue repair.

Platelet Lysate (PL)

Platelet Rich Plasma can be processed so that the growth factors inside the platelet are exposed prior to injection. This process allows the Platelet lysate to initiate the healing process faster.

Microfragmented Adipose Tissue (MFAT)

Our adipose contains adipose derived stem cells. Liposuction can be used to remove adipose tissue from the abdomen. This tissue can be injected into torn tendons, damaged ligaments, and arthritic joints to promote healing.

Precision-Guided Procedures
Advanced ultrasound- and fluoroscopic-guided techniques that allow Dr. Hughes to deliver treatment with a level of accuracy that supports better outcomes.

Advanced Recovery Therapies
Non-invasive technologies designed to support healing, reduce discomfort, improve circulation, and accelerate recovery.

Rosehip Oil

Infrared Laser Therapy

Infrared laser energy can be delivered to muscle tendon and ligament. The energy can help to reduce inflammation, create new blood flow, and increase the immune response to promote healing of damage tissues. It takes 8-10 treatment sessions, and each session takes 10-15 minutes to complete.
Argan Oil

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy helps to heal damaged tissues. Shockwaves are used for multiple medical purposes. Stem-wave delivers this energy to the tissues which can reduce pain, reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, and restart the healing process. It typically takes 10-12 sessions to receive enough energy to promote significant healing. The first session takes about 30 minutes. Each session after that takes 10 minutes or less.
